Be a Norwegian Farmer for a Day.
Don classic green coveralls and step into the boots of an active Norwegian farmer. Guided by our family and seasoned agricultural friends, learn the levers of modern tractors, feed and handle livestock, repair fences, and capture an authentic keepsake portrait in the driver's cab.
There is an unmistakable shift in perspective when the heavy door of a tractor clicks shut, the diesel engine purrs, and the wide sweep of Lake Mjøsa unfolds beneath your cab window. This is not a passive walking tour; it is a full, tactile immersion into modern Norwegian agricultural life, where cutting-edge technology works hand-in-glove with centuries-old pastoral intuition.
You will pair up directly with one of our farmers, pulling on iconic Felleskjøpet workwear before heading out to work real pasture rows, distribute silage to the goat herds, and learn machinery hydraulics on level ground. Midway through the morning, we take a hearty break for coffee and thick sandwiches in the workshop, concluding with a professional portrait of you in the tractor seat, a lasting tribute to your day farming the Norwegian hillside.
