Nordic Skiing in the Gudbrandsdal Wild.
Travel into the vast, interconnected cross-country ski trail networks of the Gudbrandsdal Valley. Guided by lifelong local skiers who know every backcountry passage, glide along immaculately prepared wilderness trails through silent spruce forests and across expansive mountain plateaus.
The Gudbrandsdal Valley is home to the world's most extensive cross-country skiing tracks. Leaving commercial ski centers behind, we venture into the quiet backcountry routes where traditional Norwegian touring culture has thrived for generations.
Your hosts are local ski mentors who know this vast network intimately. They choose the day's loop according to the morning's weather and snow conditions, sharing old mountain lore while helping you find an effortless, rhythmic stride. At midday, we pause for warm chocolate and tasty norwegian snacks.
We ski from mid-December through late March. February and March bring longer daylight, crisp sunlit mornings, and dry mountain snow.
